Earthbound Ecovillage and Housing Cooperative is now a reality!
Welcome to Earthbound Housing Cooperative, a new regenerative housing project in the middle of the Smålandska forest. Earthbound Housing Cooperative signed the contract of their dream property on April 7th and will soon be a thriving co-housing community of 30 adults.
With the aim to blueprint regenerative and cooperative living in Sweden, we have brought a new legal and financing model ‘Les Pas-Sages’ to Sweden, obtained a mortgage as the first of our kind with Ekobanken and raised another 6 million to buy the majority of the property through impact investments - as well as establishing a steardy group of first-movers!
We are very proud to say that we are one of the projects who ‘made it’! This success was only possible with the 6 tiredlessly dedicated founders and the big emotional, financial and practical support of so many people!
